Aimed at Leaders who attended ‘Coping with Conflict, Difficult Conversations and Leading Challenging Colleagues’

 

Day 2 of Coping with Conflict, Difficult Conversations and Leading Challenging Colleagues invites delegates to reflect on their practice and experiences since training day one.

  • What has been the outcome of trying strategies from day 1?
  • What do you feel went well and what happened that you had you hoped for a better outcome, or you are still working on?
  • These experiences will be considered along with positive next steps for moving a colleague or team forward following a difficult conversation or conflict.

 

Course Outline:

Introduction - a quick recap of Day 1

 

Session 1 – update from participants on how they have moved forward since day 1. Which strategies have they tried and to what effect?

 

Session 2 – recap of skills required for:-

•leading meetings with groups which include challenging colleagues

•leading challenging conversations

•assertiveness

•coping with conflict (self-management and personal resilience)

•the challenges of addressing conflict within your own team

 

Session 3 – group workshops, each focussing on one of the above depending on participant choice

 

Session 4 – Action planning for September – this might include re-building positive working relationships within a team following conflict/difficult conversations

 

Cost: £70 per delegate.
