Please discuss the Home School Agreement with your child and return it

signed by the Parent/Guardian and your child to the school office.

  • make sure I am always ready to learn by remembering to bring the right equipment or kit

     

  • complete my homework on time and to the best of my ability.

  • help others, both in the classroom and on the playground

     

  • be polite and friendly to both children and adults.

  • ensure my child attends school regularly, on time, properly equipped and wearing the correct uniform

     

  • take family holidays during school holidays unless exceptional circumstances mean this is not possible

     

  • inform school promptly of the reasons for any absence

     

  • keep my child away from school when they are ill to avoid spreading infections

     

  • keep school informed of anything that happens at home which might cause changes in my child’s behaviour or attitude (e.g. death of a pet, illness in the family, etc.);

     

  • attend parents’ evenings to discuss my child’s progress;

     

  • support my child in their home learning by guiding, supporting and praising them for doing this

     

  • ensure all children’s safety by encouraging my child to enter school independently

     

  • respect the privacy of all members of the school community when using social networking sites
