Aimed at: Teaching Assistants

 

Training Content:

 

Session 1:

Teaching a ‘Growth Mindset’ ensuring all learners make progress and introducing essential ‘Number Sense’ the foundation of calculation and fluency.

 

Session 2:

Developing subject knowledge and pedagogy in ‘Addition, Subtraction and Early Algebra’.

 

Session 3:

Developing subject knowledge and pedagogy in ‘Multiplication, Division and Fractions’.

 

This course will be preceded by another course starting in April 2016 specifically for Teachers that will cover the same areas (to support implementation back in school). The teachers course will focus on EYFS and KS1.
