Aimed at: EYFS and KS1 Teachers

 

Training Content:

 

Session 1:

Teaching a ‘Growth Mindset’ ensuring all learners make progress and introducing essential ‘Number Sense’ the foundation of calculation and fluency.

 

Session 2:

Developing subject knowledge and pedagogy in ‘Addition, Subtraction and Early Algebra’.

 

Session 3:

Developing subject knowledge and pedagogy in ‘Multiplication, Division and Fractions’.

 

This course will be followed by another course starting in June specifically for TAs that will cover the same areas (to support implementation back in school) with the TA course extending content from EYFS to Year 6 and is therefore suitable for Teaching Assistants supporting all year groups.
