Following the Shropshire Star's omission of our 2016/17 results from their piece published on the 15th December we are supplying the following link that takes you to the official Department for Education website where you can view St Peter's data and compare our data to all other Shropshire schools.

St Peter's Key Stage 2 results for 2017 are detailed in the document attached with the headlines being listed below (national averages are in brackets). 

 

The percentage of children who achieved the expected level or above in reading, writing and maths in 2017 was 71% (61%).

The percentage of children who achieved the high level in reading, writing and maths was 12% (9%).

 

The percentage of children achieving the expected standard or above in:

  • Reading: 74% (71%)
  • Writing: 86% (76%)
  • Maths: 84% (75%)
  • Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling: 76% (77%)

 

The percentage of children achieving the high standard in:

  • Reading: 26% (25%)
  • Writing: 21% (18%)
  • Maths: 33% (23%)
  • Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling: 33% (31%)
