* NEW DATES BELOW *
This is a specially-devised 3 day programme spanning 9 months aimed at enabling participants to devise a development project within their schools and to see it to fruition. The programme builds on the highly successful single day leadership courses which have taken place at St Peter’s Learning Centre over the last 2 years.
The facilitated training days will enhance individuals’ current leadership strengths through a variety of learning opportunities including personal reflection, group discussion and theoretical input around how highly effective leaders bring about and sustain improvement in organisational outcomes.
Participants will need a leadership coach (either their headteacher or deputy head) to support them throughout the programme. A twilight session will be offered to coaches to explore best practice in this critical role.
Each participant will be offered a 30 – 45 minute one to one coaching session with the programme facilitator one week after Day 1 to give an opportunity to further develop the participant’s target-setting, milestones and success criteria around the plan devised on
Day 1.
Facilitator:
Angela Hannan – Former secondary headteacher & lead facilitator for the National College for School Leadership
Course Feedback:

‘Angela always makes me feel empowered and energised, knowing what I have to do and the confidence to make it happen.’
‘Angela has the ability to be both challenging and supportive. She encourages reflective practice and I always leave with a planned action which will be of benefit to our setting.’
